Terms & conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through electricgolftrolleys.co.uk (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our privacy policy and refund & returns policy.
About us
Electric Golf Trolleys is a UK golf equipment retailer operating from Embankment Way, Ringwood, BH24 1WL. You can contact us through the details on this website.
Orders and contract formation
When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This is not acceptance of your order — a contract is formed when we dispatch your goods (or, for Click & Collect, when we confirm your order is ready for collection). We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example where an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred; if payment has been taken it will be refunded in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered and no VAT is charged or shown on our prices. Payment is taken securely at checkout via our payment provider; we accept major debit and credit cards and the express payment methods shown at checkout. While we take care to keep prices accurate, if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we will contact you before dispatch to confirm or cancel the order.
Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses free of charge; standard delivery takes 3–5 working days. Free Click & Collect is available from our Ringwood store — we will let you know when your order is ready. Delivery timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
Returns and cancellation
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, and as a UK consumer you also have statutory cancellation rights for online purchases. Full details, including eligibility, exceptions for special orders and how refunds are processed, are in our refund & returns policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Warranties
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty stated on the product page (for example, Motocaddy trolleys typically carry a 24- or 36-month trolley warranty and a 60-month battery warranty). Warranty claims are handled in line with the manufacturer’s terms; contact us first and we will help you through the process. This is in addition to your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods.
Trolley hire
Trolley hire is subject to availability and the terms set out on our trolley hire page, including a refundable deposit taken by card pre-authorisation and photo ID at collection. Hire equipment must be returned in the condition it was supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear; damage beyond fair wear and tear may be deducted from the deposit.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses — this site is intended for consumers. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
Use of this website
Content on this site (text, images and branding) belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Product information is provided for general guidance; manufacturers may change specifications, so please check anything critical with us before ordering.
General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
