GPS for the hilly course

The M5 GPS DHC exists for a specific golfer: you want your yardages built into the handle and your course has real gradient. It pairs the complete M5 GPS package — 3.5″ touchscreen, 40,000 pre-loaded courses, full-hole mapping, hazard distances, Wi-Fi updates — with Automatic Downhill Control that brakes the trolley to a walking pace on descents, plus an electronic parking brake for standing it on slopes.

The complete on-course toolkit

Between the screen and the braking, little is left to think about: 60-yard Adjustable Distance Control sends it ahead to your ball, performance tracking logs your round, and Bluetooth notifications keep the phone in the bag. At around 11.2 kg it carries the DHC hardware while staying well under the weight of the remote models, and the standard lithium battery covers a full 18 holes.

Who it’s for

Golfers on undulating courses who’d otherwise buy a GPS device separately — this does both jobs in one purchase. On flat ground the standard M5 GPS saves you the DHC premium. For 36-hole days there’s the Ultra battery version, and if you want remote steering on top of all this, the M7 GPS Remote is the final step up the range.

Frequently asked questions

Why pay extra for the DHC version of the M5 GPS?

For automatic braking on descents and a parking brake on slopes — on a hilly course it’s the upgrade you’ll use on every hole.

Does the GPS need a subscription?

No — the 40,000-course database is pre-loaded and updates over Wi-Fi.

How much heavier is the DHC?

Around 11.2 kg against 10.5 kg for the standard M5 GPS — a small penalty for the braking hardware.

Is there a bigger battery option?

Yes — the M5 GPS DHC Ultra carries the extended battery for 36-hole days.
