Remote control used to be reserved for the top of the range. The ME Remote is Motocaddy’s entry into it: a rechargeable USB-C handset with forward, reverse and left/right steering, working at a range past 100 metres. Send the trolley to the next tee while you hole out, steer it around a bunker rather than through the wet, or bring it to you across the green — the things no push-button trolley can do.
Twin 230W motors with Automatic Downhill Control keep it composed on descents, and Adaptive Terrain Stability holds its line across cambers and side-slopes — essential when the trolley is 80 yards ahead of you. A dual control mode means you can drive it manually by the handle at any time, there’s an emergency stop on the handset, and the Ultra lithium battery carries capacity for long days. The trade-off is weight: at around 14.4 kg the twin-motor hardware makes it a heavier lift than the ~10 kg push-button models.
Golfers sold on remote control who don’t need GPS built in, and want the cheapest way to genuine handset steering from a brand that can be serviced. Want a display and Cartlock security with it? That’s the M7 Remote. Want GPS as well? The M7 GPS Remote does everything.
Comfortably past 100 metres — far more than you’ll need in normal play, with an emergency stop on the handset.
Nothing dramatic — dual control mode lets you drive the trolley manually by the handle at any time, and the handset recharges over USB-C.
The second motor and remote hardware — around 14.4 kg versus roughly 10 kg for the push-button models. It’s the main trade-off of any remote trolley.
Yes — twin DHC motors and Adaptive Terrain Stability are there precisely to keep it tracking straight and braking properly while away from your hands.
