Everything but the remote

This is the most complete conventional trolley in the range. Full integrated GPS on the 3.5″ touchscreen — 40,000 courses, hole mapping, hazard distances, Wi-Fi updates. Automatic Downhill Control with an electronic parking brake for the hills. And the extended-capacity Ultra lithium battery, so 36-hole days and long golfing weekends never become charge arithmetic. The only things the range offers beyond this are a handset to steer by and flagship finishes.

Why this configuration

Each element answers a real question: the GPS replaces a separate device you’d otherwise buy and charge; the DHC handles descents your course actually has; the Ultra battery covers the volume of golf you actually play. It drives conventionally with 60-yard Adjustable Distance Control, keeping weight around 11.2 kg — several kilos under the remote models it competes with on features.

Who it’s for

The committed golfer on an undulating course who plays often and long, wants yardages built in, and doesn’t need remote steering. If any one of those doesn’t apply, the range has a cheaper answer: the standard-battery DHC for 18-hole golfers, the M5 GPS for flat courses. If you do want the handset, it’s the M7 GPS Remote — this trolley’s only real rival in the range.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between this and the M7 GPS Remote?

Remote control — the M7 adds handset steering and a second motor, at more weight and cost. This M5 keeps the GPS and hill control in a lighter, conventional trolley.

How long does the Ultra battery last?

It’s the extended-capacity option — comfortably beyond 18 holes and suited to 36-hole days.

Does it brake downhill?

Yes — Automatic Downhill Control holds it to a steady pace on descents, with an electronic parking brake for slopes.

What warranty does it carry?

24 months on the trolley and 60 months on the battery.
